Why the fuck did I enjoy this movie even in the slightest?

Sandler plays an Israeli Special Forces Soldier that fakes his own death to get away form the misery of life in Israel fighting Palestinian baddies and escaped to NY to pursue his dream of being a hairstylist.

What could possibly go wrong?

Hijinks aplenty....

John Turturro just made me laugh and despite myself Sandler did too.....

This is a movie that I have avoided at all costs but then found myself enjoying it which puzzled me...damn you Sandler

Thinking about it and I think one reason I enjoyed it somewhat is that Sandler wasn't talking in his own annoying voice and instead had what I assume was an Israeli accent (yeah right).

It's always been that voice of his that annoyed as much as anything....Mike Myers has the same effect on me...Sandler makes rubbish but it's not Mike Myers rubbish...can't stand him.

Not bad - it had its moments.

I gave it 2.5. If I could edit that vote. I'd probably drop a half a star due to ghastly geriatric sex jokes.

Who does the polling that produces the data that says America can't get enough geriatric sex humor?

How did you feel about the broader story of Israelis and Palestinians working together instead of the usual nonsense.

Sandler might be way ahead of his time on this cock jokes aside.
