Castillo, Tejada, and Havens appear to be giving their legs a rest this offseason. Luis Hernandez has appeared on the roster for Aragua, but has no stats.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 Encouraged by Murphy's numbers at the dish, I wonder how he looks in the field. He's my best hope for 2011 among guys within the organization right now.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 Yeah, I'm not super-worried about offense at second when it's pretty much a committee job at this point. I'm more concerned about defense.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 I'm not worried, but neither am I confident. The undoing of last season, as much as anything, was getting sub-zero offense out of second, right, and catcher through the middle third of the season. The redundancy of options is great, but I just want to be sure that Collins, unlike Manuel, will be willing, if necessary, to shuffle through the options until one or two work.
