bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Add Bobby Parnell to the list of Mets that has been "shut down" since September came.(Jerry will so confused the next time the Mets have a lead in the 8th inning). AdamRubinESPN Bobby Parnell is being shut down for the remainder of the season with an elbow issue.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I guess this sucks but honestly I am finding it hard to care a whole lot.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Twelve more games for Jerry.

How would I react in my job I wonder if everyone knew that in two weeks I would be fired, it's out there just not official yet. Manuel has been with the Mets now what 4/5 years?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 This is Jerry's sixth season with the Mets. (He's been with them since 2005, when he was the first base/outfield coach on Willie's original staff.)
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 As mentioned on tonight's telecast, Parnell is claiming he's NOT done for the season, that this is nothing more than minor stiffness which the MRI confirmed. He claims to feel better already and wants to have a few more outings. Whether that actually happens remains to be seen.

Post signs that say "Ride 'Em Hard, and Put 'Em Away Wet... and Strained" and "Walk it Off, Pussy," and have the trainers openly bait borderline-hurt players. 'Cause, y'know, they've been working so hard at the Prevention & Recovery thing, that there's no way that they're just shitty at taking care of and managing player health... or insincere, and focused on lip-service response to organization-wide problems, right?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Can it be demonstrated that they've had more arm injuries --- or lost more games to injuries --- than most teams?
