Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Mets' Beltran out with tendinitis in left knee(AP) 38 minutes agoNEW YORK Carlos Beltran is out of the New York Mets' lineup with tendinitis in his left knee caused by overcompensating during rehabilitation from surgery on his right knee.Beltran says he felt pain in the knee after stepping hard at first base during his first at-bat against Philadelphia Friday night, but he was able to finish the game. He is not certain if he will play Sunday.Beltran played with tendinitis in both knees in 2006 and '07.The center fielder was told by doctors after having offseason surgery on the right knee that he might develop the condition. Doctors noted it's natural to put more stress on the healthy leg while rebuilding strength in the injured one.Angel Pagan was in center field for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Bases loaded for Luis Hernandez.And... he pops out.And... Wright tags and is thrown out.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 But Hernandez snags a rip by Howard hit into the shift.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Thank you, Brian Schneider.Seven innings for Pelfrey and 94 pitches, but he leads off the bottom of the seventh. Does he bat?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Two out rally brewing. Wayne not telling me where the lead runner is for ten seconds.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Intentionally walking wright to pitch to a hot and 3-3 Ike Davis. It's not your day, Romero.

At this point of the game, I almost rear-ended somebody while I was trying to work this out in my head.
