I think we can do something to level the playing field..Pagan, Hernandez, Beltran, Davis, Hessman, Duda, Blanco, Tejada and GeeWright hurt his finger sliding into second base yesterday. This is why you always bunt. if you bunt, it prevents players from having to slide. Prevention and recovery!
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Feel the ire of Dre and Snoop for passing on the obvious IGT title.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Hessman and Jacobs still locked in a 1-1 duel.I tried buying tickets for the tour in July and couldn't get two for the same desired time frame until September. I think the limit per tour is 20, so that should be comparable to what they draw for the Pirate series.

I was considering 'splurging' for tickets to the Pirate series and hanging out in the Caesar's Club, or maybe eating an overpriced dinner in the Acela Club. Hopefully *sorta anyway* it'll be the cheapest Mets tickets on Stub Hub for a long long while.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Ike making a late ROTY run!
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 No Ike has looked this good in Washington since January 20, 1961.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 The Duda does not abide.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Plenty of adequate seats appear to be available.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Based on the entirety of Dillon Gee's major league career, he is a total fly ball pitcher.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Three batters, three flyouts to center. Play HoJo at short to generate more offense.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 And the DH can officially be retired from the sport. Go Gee!
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Mets go quietly after Gee's RBI single. Either they're besotted by overconfidence or Maya has been scared straight.Maya was an incredibly underrated SNL cast member.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Dillon Gee's first three major league innings have yielded one base hit...his own.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Gee doesn't get a base hit every time up. My faith in humanity is shaken.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 The side is struck out in the fourth. That, too, is a Gee thang (baby).
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Geez! Whiffs the side...
