Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I thought I saw Medlen grab for his groinish area after he popped off the mound. Well, more like around his belt.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 OMG, Reyes. You have to make that play!Come-on already!A slow grounder by the fuckin pitcher...
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I don't get what the Mets just did there , pitch around Chipper only to pitch to McCann?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 We got a great big Pelfrey.Well, not anymore tonight.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Fuck you Pelfrey.[/quote:2hbcai7h]I can't disagree. Maybe the Mets last gasp and they needed Pelfrey to come up big. Imagine how well the Mets would be doing if Pelfrey sustained the brilliance he had earlier in the year.

I thought what I was seeing was him finding himself and reaching his potential.I'm bummed.Takes a lot to get me bummed.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Not sure what's worse here;- that Pelfrey seemingly pitched around everyone EXCEPT the guy with multiple XBHs off him,- that he then hit the next dude- or that the Braves were forced by injury to bring in their third best LHP and the heart of our lineup has two broken-bat infield outs and two pop fouls off him

It's a good error because Pelfrey doesn't give up unearned runs. So the strategy is for Reyes to make an error with Pelf on the mound because the error is supposed to guarantee that the runner'll be stranded on base. And if he scores, it's Jerry's fault. Get it?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 And of all the fuckin people to take this game back, its Chipper "Fuckin" Jones.OMG!!!!!DP BALL!!!!!!!ERROR!!!!

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 No sense in ending the game with more hits than errors. Where's the fun in that?
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I'm in roll-eyes and laugh mode ... it's funny but not.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 The comeback begins now. Francoeur's cleared.

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 You want comedy? Stick around. Two more runs and Ollie'll get a turn.
Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Oh what a joyous time to be joining this game -- apart from Pelfrey who should I direct my hate towards?
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 7-3. One for the Mets. Can't score the 7th before scoring the 3rd.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Who the hell started this IGT?
