Heath Bell loves the Mets

I enjoy watching two kinds of pitchers, ones who know how to pitch and are crafty and others who throw hard, but know how to pitch and think about each pitch. Guys who dont throw as hard but are good at what they do are Moyer of the Phillies and LeBlanc from the Padres. Guys who throw hard and know what to do on the mound are Sabathia, Clemens and Mike Pelfrey, who is a good friend and pitching great this year. Someone like Roy Halladay, while a great pitcher, is boring to me. I dont enjoy watching his style of pitching if I have to be paying for it!

He must literally be asleep during "Halladays".
Nice he gave that shout out to Pelf.

For some reason that link's not coming up with me so maybe this is covered in there -- but Heath was one of the two guys who clearly clashed with Peterson when he was the pitching coach ( JW Seo was the other) so even if he were pissed off at the org it's not like it serves his purpose to keep that going long after the reason for it has passed (even though he kind of has). Players, in general, rarely care who's in the front office five minutes after the ink's dry on their contract and are therefore unlikely to hold grudges or divide team into some fan-like black-hat/white-hat dichotomy that they'll cling to for life.

In short: who cares what he says now or has said in the past as it's pretty much meaningless IMO.

So sick of this guy, seems to me the best thing for his career was the Mets " giving up on him".....and yeah, shocker that he would welcome coming back to the team.
