Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 I seem to remember him as serious 2006 rotation candidate out of spring training. I'm probably exaggerating (I can't even find him in the media guide), but he seemed to really be in the the mix there. He lives in a small corner of my mind --- along with Todd Self, Tike Redman, Yusaku Iriki, and Steve Schmoll --- populated by guys I had every expectation to sooner or later get a call and a chance to make a mark on that special season, but instead went down and fell off the face of the earth. The Mets earth, anyhow.I guess part of me was still expecting him to get a call.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Gonzalez and Robertson are gone, but Burnitz persistz.
