Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Lennon is tweeting -- he's had a busy day on Twitter -- that the Mets are renaming Tradition Field as Digital Domain Park. Not that I care all that much what the spring training stadium is called, but that's a goofy name. And while Tradition Field had a nice ring to it, it's a corporate name, too, I believe. I think the housing developments around there are named that.

Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Tradition Field had an MFY feel to it anyway.
Guest attgig Guests Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 maybe they'll fix the dimensions to match citifield while they're at it...
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 'Digital Domain' sounds like it's a throw-back to the first wave of stadium names which all seemed to be those hi-tech computer firms with names that didn't exactly roll off the tongue
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 It will now be the www.Godaddy.com field.Rather than Danica Patrick, they should put up banners of the players wives around the field
