Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Alright boys. Save something for tomorrow, please.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Stokes might actually get a vulture win out of this! He owes Bobby a steak or something.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 So... I'm enjoying this. A rare late rally and all. But I just thought it bore noting: a bunt with a man on third. And it's NOT a squeeze.'Cause it's more important to avoid the DP with nobody out-- a theoretical DP that gets a run in, I note-- than, you know, GET A RUN IN.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Why is Stokes still in this game?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Got to pay your dues if you wanna sing the bluesand you know it don't come easy

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 WAYNE: "Two bobbles, a run in, and all of a sudden, the door is open."HOWIE: "Strange... and yet, strangely expected. When YOUR family has an unforeseeable but strangely predictable mess, reach for Spongetech!"
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 The good thing about that pop-up was that it was going to be an out whether anyone caught it or not -- which is kind of important for a team where catching pops is a coin-flip proposition.
