G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I am bloodlustily fed up with Pelfrey.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Broadway seems to have a strikeout change.[/quote:2180ltez]That's what got him drafted in the first round. It's his control that's the problem.

I wonder if there's a stealth sabermetric, not visible on my radar, that would indicate that he is a real prospect rather than just a roster-filler.Later
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Wright's head does look like a peanut in a fishbowl with that helmet.Plus he keeps pushing it back down on his head like he feels it's going to rise up and take off on him.[/quote:1x39u3mg]There's a picture in the Snooze and man that thing looks huge on his head , Wright said it needs to be modified as it slides down his head when he runs. The Snooze in the print edition has a picture of Rick Moranis in a huge helmet from I think Spaceballs.....kind of funny.
