metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 It would be a whole lot better if the Mets were taking better advantage while the Phillies are losing so many.I'm going to guess that our record over the last twenty games isn't much better than theirs.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Well it was a good giveaway (nice blue hat) and I was relieved just to get out there after fearing heavy rain all day.Jr. Lunchpail was pretty good for the first few innings, clapping at all the appropriate times, etc, but things started unraveling when we decided to get something to eat. Wound up in the CF concourse with frites and hot dogs after checking out most of the rest rooms and escalators along the way (I dunno if this is all kids but he insists we see the bathroom whereever we go).Missed LWFS while we were waiting online at the whiffle ball field and the Mets somehow gave up the lead & tie. Headed back up the Prom just as the skies opened and sat it out for awhile, but we all got tired and caught the last inning at home.Didn't see much or miss much!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 The rain delay just turned out to be sucqus interruptus.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 So cool how we pitch the same guys every day.
