Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Going into the top of the ninth with a 5-2 lead, the Indians bring in Kerry Wood. After a leadoff groundout, the Royals have gone homer, homer, walk, triple. Tie game, winning run on third with one out.And as I type KC hits a sac fly to win. I like the Met bullpen. My question is, at what point do you remove a closer? Do the back-to-back home runs not show you that he doesn't have it today?
