seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Apparently, the Mets aren't concerned that I didn't get this up in time. And apparently, I should have picked up Omir Santos instead of Jesus Flores this week to replace the injured Brian McCann. But anyway -- since we last left the Marlins, not much has changed, except:* They've lost six in a row, getting swept by the Pirates and Phillies.* Logan Kensing is gone, and Burke Badenhop has replaced him in the bullpen.* Andrew Miller is on the DL, but we won't see his replacement, Graham Taylor, as he got shelled yesterday by the Phillies.Even the three pitching matchups are exactly the same:FRIDAY 7:10 -- Anibal Sanchez (1-1, 2.50) vs John Maine Round 1: 5-4 Marlins on a ninth-inning RBI single from Jorge CantuSATURDAY 6:10 -- Ricky Nolasco (1-2, 6.86) vs Livan Hernandez Round 1: 8-4 Mets thanks to a nice performance by Livan in his Mets debut. Remember, the Mets hit Nolasco well.SUNDAY 1:10 -- Josh Johnson (2-0, 2.20) vs Johan Santana Round 1: Let's just not go there. Johnson is 5-0 career against the Mets.
