Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 We've discussed --- usually in the context of Rickey --- the paucity of lefty-throwing, righty hitting players, but in the context of the Rickey election, I was suprised to read a report stating that only three players of such vintage had more than 4000 at-bats: Rickey, Cleon Jones, and Hal Chase. Two Mets and one of the most corrupt players in baseball history. Wow.I guess you can say they were all headaches to manage, but to very different degrees.
dgwphotography Old-Timey Member Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 That's cool - I'm lefty throwing, and righty batting...Unfortunately, so is Ray Liotta....
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I'm lefty throwing, and i might as well hit righty for all the success i've ever had hitting left-handed.
