I really feel like the Dark Empire will crash and burn on the 18th (or 17th), but since those dates are already taken I will choose another.

I think the Yankees shall meet their official demise on Monday, Sept. 22nd. However, with their upcoming series' being against the Rays and White Sox, I doubt they can truly hold off the inevitable nearly that long. At least I hope not.

Absolutely. Hank has been blowing the guy all year long.

And that's great, cuz I don't get the impression Girardi's had a good year. He's clearly uncomfortable when under fire from reporters, and obviously hasn't gotten though to the Yankees' young players like Cabrera and Cano. About the only good things to happen under him are better-than-expected years from Mussina and Damon.
