Beltran needs to get a hit right here.

In comes Sean Burnett and the weird step-over delivery.

They have to be going to a lefty specalist

Not what we needed. Pissing this game away.

Are any of our relievers actually capable of pitching a full inning?

Or is it that Jerry is just unwilling to let them do so?

Ugh. Multiple ugh.

Good defense by Sanchez, at very least.

You ain't kidding. When I saw the B-Mets last night and one reliever pitched the entire 7th and 8th AND held a one run lead, it was stunning.

Jerry apparently likes to use ALL the bullpen.

Duaner Sanchez sucks.

I suppose it's hard to complain after a 6-game win streak. But this sucks. This game should have been won.

Ugh. Why does our BP have to suck so much?

I bet the asshole who crashed into Duaner's cab is living it up somewhere right now, too.

Here's what sticks in my craw right now:

1. When Jerry brought Schoeneweis into the game, he didn't double-switch. Even though the pitcher's spot was due up in the order next. And we're still carrying 3 catchers, so he could've easily lifted Castro from the game without much consequence.

2. Yet then, after removing Schoeneweis from the game (after Scott pitched well), he puts Feliciano (another lefty!) in as the next pitcher.

Why couldn't Schoeneweis have stayed in the game?

---

The reason this bugs me is that I am convinced that part of the bullpen problems is that he is simply having everybody get up and into the games too frequently. It's ok -- really, I swear -- to have a pitcher go a whole inning.

I lost track of the innings and thought it was the 9th already.

Although it might as well be :(

I know what you mean, but Jerry got ejected in like the 2nd or 3rd inning.

Five runs in three innings for the bully. Terrible. Was the new guy even there yet. Omar needs to make about three more moves.

Who gets cut / sent to the minors?

What will Easley do now that there's nobody on base for him to erase also?
