Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Tonight, Craig Hansen, Sox refugee.I think Grabow is the top dog now.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Wow. Victorino doubled off first to end the game.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Buccos do us a big favor!Opening ceremonies were indeed sweet!
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Alright! The dog wouldn't let me stay in and watch. So we took a walk and thought Pirate thoughts.Anybody else triple happy tonight?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Pretty spectacular torch lighting too, and probably looked better live than on TV.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Kinda what the Mets have planned for the final game!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 ="AG/DC"]Anybody else triple happy tonight?I'm quintupilly happy. Mets win. Phillies, Marlins, Yankees lose. Rays win. If only the Red Sox had won, I'd be sextupilly happy.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 This game just further illustrates that we can't hit. Two big swings scored all the runs. Not good.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Good enough to win the game. The game also illustrates that they can pitch.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 And catch.Nolasco is a heckuva pitcher on a nice run. I'll take it.Meanwhile, they're third in the league in runs per game.
