A week ago, we dropped 2 of 3 in Florida; we go against the same 3 Marlins pitchers this series.

Since we last saw them, the Marlins split 4 at home with the Rockies and took 2 of 3 in Philadelphia.

Tonight:
Ricky Nolasco ® vs. Perez.

Last time we saw him, Nolasco gave up 2 runs and 7 hits, 0 walks and 8 Ks in 6 innings. We lost -- it was the game that Maine left injured.

Nolaso's last outing was against the Rockies; he struck out 13 in 8 innings, 0 walks, 4 hits, 3 ER -- and only 93 pitches.

Perez out pitched Scott Olsen when we faced the Marlins last.

Saturday:
Scott Olsen (L) v. Brian Stokes
We beat the Marlins when Olsen started against us, but Olsen pitched ok - 5.2 IP, 6H, 2 R, 5 K (we got to their pen).

Olsen threw 6 shutout innings (1 hit allowed) against the Rockies in his last outing.

Sunday:
Josh Johnson ® v. Pelfrey
Rematch from our last series. Johnson won:8H, 2BB and 4 ER in 6.2 IP. Pelfrey left after 4 IP, giving up 5 ER and 8 hits.

Marlins Injuries:
Marlins catcher and husband of Beach Volleyball Olympian Misty May has a sore hip.
