Interesting t-shirt for sale.

The Deadwood Mets were charter members of the Black Hills League. They lasted two years, and disbanded when the league itself disbanded after the 1892 season



I like the shirt but did this team really exist? And if they did, why would a team in 19th century South Dakota call themselves 'The Mets'?

From what I know about Deadwood (from the HBO Series of course!) they'd more likely call themselves 'The Fucking Fuck Yous!'

Seems odd.
