Guest Vince Coleman Firecracker Guests Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Right now, I feel like the Mets have absolutely no chance at doing anything this year except, perhaps, lucking into a slightly above .500 season. However, the last time I felt this down on one of my teams, I was really wrong. No, wait... looking at the dates, I guess this was the last time I felt this down on one of my teams, and that time I was right.Oh well- I tried to be optimistic.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Oh, of course they have a chance. They're not at all likely to win 95 games, but the Phillies aren't running away with the division. The Mets could very well sneak into the playoffs with 87 or 88 wins.I don't see much reason to be optimistic, but there's still reason to be hopeful.
