strong approval, i had a negative opinion of alomar's decisions at third. maybe its unfair, but hey i'm just giving my opinion.

I guess it bohooves us to find out whether what seems is what is.

well i'm not sure if the stats exist, or could be found, to tell us what we want to know, such as the % of mets runners thrown out at the plate when a throw is made (preferably broken down by number of outs), compared to the league averages.

Alomar might have well as worn a hood and waved guys around third with
one of those grim reaper sickles on a stick as he often sent them to death
at the plate.
