Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 That must be the 4th hit Endy got in this series after falling behind 0-2 then working a full count.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 It seems the Mets generally follow the same script, no matter who is directing them. They score early and gain a lead. Then the offense goes dormant while the opposition storms back to take the lead and ultimate victory. I'm getting sick and tired of this storyline and hope they'll write in an alternate ending.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Hey, MLB, I don't want to "vote up to 25 times!"The very idea offends me.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Cool to hear the ump screaming at Manuel.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Schoeneweis with a nice 1-2-3 inning in the bottom of the 8th.Last chance coming up for the Mets.Castro, Reyes, and Tatis due up for the Mets. Hopefully, Wright and Beltran will also get at bats this inning.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Reyes with the one-out single.Let's see him steal a run.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Castro pops out to the catcher.Reyes follows with a one out single to right field. We need a gapper from Tatis. Instead we get a strike out. It's up to Wright. Time be be a hero David.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Woo hoo. A wild pitch moves Reyes into scoring position for Mr. Wright.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 YAHOO!Now go ahead. I can't stay up much longer.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Wright comes through with the single to tie up the game.I know how you feel Edgy. Let's have Beltran scorch one so we can take the lead and end this thimng in the ninth.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Well, I'm going to bed if the Mets don't score in the 10th.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 The old 3-4-1.Playoff teams make plays like that.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Yeah, 10th is it for me. Go Mets
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Yikey. Guerrero is just the type of hitter who gobbles Wagner up.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Zowie. Super play by Wright there. Here comes Vlad vs. Wags. gulp
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Holy crap, Wright! Who taught you that shit?!
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 It's looking better all the time. The Mets had better pull this one out now, because I'm going to be feeling the sleep deprivation in the morning.
