They don't say in which capacity, but I'll guess that first base looks wide open. Luis was listed as the Mets "field coordinator," though I don't quite know what that means.

Wikipedia shows Luis a beneficiary of two of Richie Ashburn's finer descriptions.

Somewere on the Internet it was said he was to be the new bench coach. But who knows.
