Two out and two on and you're not excited to see him come up, huh?

I'm cahnfident that Pascucci gets called when Alou hits the shelf again. Then the two of them are locked in mortal combat with Aguila until Pagan is ready.

You don't want to be in mortal combat with a Samoan. Their centers of gravity are wicked low.

I guess what I don;t get is why Tatis today when Aguila hasta be the better fielder and Santana such a flyballer. Plus, everyone loves Aguila and hates Tatis (today).

Santana btw 9 K's, 96 pitches thru 6

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Tatis should only play left field in an emergency. Treat him like he's Rusty Staub in 1985.

Or like he's Dave Kingman in... well, any year after 1975, I guess.

Favorite yearbook page of all-time: 1976 Kingman picture with cutouts of boxscores demonstrating his versatility: He plays left! He plays first! He plays third!

Rusty treatment for Tatis crossed my mind last week. Nothing's too crazy if it helps win a game.

Easley's been drilled twice now. Will he throw down?

Scoring? Past the 6th inning? Against a BP? I don't believe it.

Tatis singles on soft line drive to center field (2 RBI)

Aguila strikes out.

Reyes double, Tatis to third.

Endy up, full count -- and he walks on 11 pitches.

Chavez reaches on the old base on balls.

Coaching visit to the mound as Wright approaches the batters box and obsesessively rubs his nose on the inside of his uniform.

Wright has to be among the league leaders in fouling out this year.

Aguila in left.

A double-switch which actually brings the pitcher's spot up a bit earlier -- but that's of little concern right now.

Wonder where he got the idea.

That was Santana's Cy Youngiest performance of the year, wasn't it?

Seven innings, three hits, three walks, ten whiffs, no runs.

One can build on that sorta shit.

Somewhere, there's a horse daring Billy Wagner to get back on him.
