Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Is there a thread already?
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Nuez takes Evans' roster spot and his number 6.Cancel confirmed (I saw him on TV) wearing number 4.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I don't see the purpose in this move.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Easley is the only middle infielder on the bench. And on days when Castillo is out with aches and/or pains, then there are NO middle infielders on the bench. That's the best explanation I can come up with.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 And Nunez does seem marginally better than Anderson Hernandez, though not as good as Jose Valentin. What's he up to anyway?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Valentin has recently started playing. He's listed as being 8 for 25 (4 doubles) at St Lucie, and also 0 for 4 at New Orleans. So I'm assuming that means he's nearly ready to come back, so between him and Alou also almost set to go maybe we can fianlly start getting some age on this team.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Casnova back, Cancel down. Does MLB require a death certificate for bereavement leaves? They could call the rule the Costanza.
