Guest AG/DC Guests Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 The veteran LOOGy has been signed by the Mets to a minor league deal and offered an invite to spring training. He's missed the last two seasons with two seperate injuries. He's historically worn 73, which would make him the second 73 in Met history, after Kenny Rogers.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 worth the minor league deal.if he can get back to where he was he'll be a good asset, if not he didn't cost much.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 He was actually the closer for the Twins at one point, wasn't he?

Guest holychicken Guests Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 well, damn. Stupid people with the same last names trying to confuse me. They should really do something about that.
