smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Good analysis. Reyes really did seem to be popping too many balls up late. That should be correctable, especially with his BB/K ratio up close to 1; he made better decisions on when he swings, but the quality of swings wasn't where it needed to be.

It wasn't a slump! Reyes was in a season-long decline. He only played well in April and just sucked BHMC the rest of the time. Besides he can't slump, he's a Dominican and has natural abilities so if Reyes ever performs poorly it's because he's a lazy loafer who just doesn't care about the game or the fans. Our in-house experts at the CPF determined this months ago.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Who are you callling out?The one in-house hit on "crane pool" + reyes + loafer is yours. That same post is the only time lazy is applied to him.I remember folks speculating that something seemed wrong with him, but not attacking him so meanly like that at all. I do think one poster said his uncle had seen him out on the town too much.
