This isn't funny. Not because they are supposed to be making fun of the Mets--Letterman had some funny Mets jokes this week--but because it just isn't funny.

The Conan bit with Mr. Met trying to commit suicide and failing because of his proportions: funny.

This is like, "Hey, let's do that thing that Jon Stewart does with the faces and noises, but with less control and no context."
