Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Perez would probably be a good insurance policy to have should the inevitable injury knock one of the starters out of the rotation for an extended period. Almost certain to be an upgrade over Lima, Gonzalez, Ho Park, and Williams that have filled that role over the past two seasons.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Two guys named O. Perez will REALLY screw up my Schaefering!
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 i like how they post his 8-11 W-L record (which looks ok with the lowly royals) as well as his lifetime 4.21 ERA but fail to mention his recent history- ERAs of 4.56, 6.20, & 5.57 the past 3 years while making only 19, 20, & 26 starts thanks to injuries.
