Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Congrats to both.I guess I'm not voting enough to argue, but the system is some'at flawed if Billy Wagner is the 14th best Met in July.9 G, 9 IP, 8 SVO, 8 SV, 0 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 1 HBP, 7 SO, 0.00 ERA.The cards are gorgeous.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Billy Wagner: Doing everything he's called on to do and doing it extraordinarily well. But he's not called on that often. And he's only called on to do it for a few minutes at a time.Saves have gotten him the big bucks. Saves don't seem to be getting him Schaefer points. I think he'll accept the tradeoff.(Life without 2007 Billy Wagner, however, would be...like a lot of years. Let's at least send a round of Black Label to his table.)
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Congrats to Wright and Maine, nice work Yancy.I tend to agree with G-Fafif that Nightcrawler would gladly take the big bucks over the suds.
