Really, it's valadius that seems to look a little a off in that thread, calling Petit "as sure-fire a prospect as they come," and then turning around and watching the guy puke up a 9.57 ERA last season. He's done perfectly fine this year, but that was something of a jettisonning of perspective.

Yeah, but he's young. (And he was even younger then.) Perspective is something that comes easier with age, at least for most of us.
