Omar is damn busy...Ledee was DFA'd the other day so maybe that's one reason to pick up Marlon.

Don't know if Marlon, like Roberto Hernandez last summer, carries a "Best Used by Mets by October 2, 2005" date, but what the hell? Worth a try for the chance they'll replay him blowing that bubble rounding first on the pinch-hit inside-the-parker again.

Sounds to me like he's a "just in case" kind of guy. Sort of like Edgardo Alfonzo last year, who never even got a September call.

Could be, though Marlon's career is more recently vital than Fonzie's. (I'm about five seconds from my "they were up by 12 games, he could have been the 2006 version of Mazzilli" rant, so I'll stop now.)
