Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Let's kick some Cardinal tail.
Guest KC Guests Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 This is going to be the longest two hours of the season. And if any Yankeenews breaks between now and then, no matter how earth shattering, of graveimportance, or tragic, I'm a gonna ....
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I can't wait, after six years I get to shout on the Mets for only the second time in my life....Let's Go Mets

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Oh I should have said for only the second time as a Mets fan I get to root for them in the postseason.

Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Oh my GOD did I just get chills hearing Bob Murphy like that!!!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 wow----They used Murphs voice.I had goosebumps.That was excellent.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Very nice tribute on FOX to Bob Murphy and Jack Buck....
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I was like, HOLY CRAP, he's back from the dead. It sounded like he was RIGHT THERE.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 ="Valadius"]I was like, HOLY CRAP, he's back from the dead. It sounded like he was RIGHT THERE.I was so caught up in it my first thought was how did they get him to say that stuff?lol--that was pretty classic.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Luis Gonzalez in the booth, better than Lou I suppose.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 In a situation like this, I wouldn't throw a pitch within 3-4 inches of the plate. Don't pitch to him unless you have to. I make someone else beat me if I'm Willie.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Way to start things off!1-2-3 inning.

Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Darn - I thought that Beltran's ball was going to carry 0-0 after one.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Glavine looks pretty sharp early. Weaver's struggling with his control a little, but Reyes & LoDuca can't hold up and take bad swings at bad pitches.I though Beltran had that one, but it looks like he got jammed a little.Let's Go Mets!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I feel so much better now after Jay-Z tried to flog me a notebook computer....must suck to be so rich.

Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Eckstein throws like a girl.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Yeah David, don't step over the bag.
