Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 The Mets got a small measure of revenge on the Nationals while giving MFS62 and Doc Tee a nice birthday present this evening. Tonights victory gave the Mets their first consecutive victories since Sept. 12th & 13th. John Maine helped to defeat the Nationals with both his arm and his bat. He received support from his brothers in arms as the bullpen pitched 3 shut out innings to close out the Nationals and preserve the Mets victory. So join me in wishing MFS62 and Doc Tee a happy birthday while enjoying a round (or two) of Newcastle Brown Ale.
