Was watching on TCM last night, and thinking that if you remade this with contemporary special effects wizardry, with an A-List screenwriter and Spielberg directing, with music by John Williams, it still wouldn't be as good as the original.

Then I discover it's being remade by Keenan Ivory Wayans,
