1986 NL East Clincher, Last rush of a stadium field?

I'm not sure what prompted me wondering about it, but I was talking to a friend about this, and we've figured that, at least in NY pro sports, that the 1986 NL East clincher at Shea may have been the last time the audience rushed onto the field, for any reason.

NLCS in Houston
WS, Horses and security were able to keep fans at bay. This would be the same for the 1988 NLEast clincher, and all Yankee clinchers at the Stadium during their run

While I agree, its a darn good thing that the "tradition" has ceased (Chris Chambliss never did touch home plate (or 3rd base for that matter) after his walk off 1976 ALCS homer, not to mention Pete Flynn's headache the next morning after the 86 Divisional clincher) but I kind of feel a coolness about the fact that Shea's faithfull could be the last MLB audience to have a mass rush of the playing field.
