Soler pitched a complete game, 2 hit shut out of the Daimnondbacks. This was his third strong outing in 4 starts since joining the Mets. Arizona's shaky defense and the Mets bats provided Soler with all the offense he would need in the top of the first inning. The sponsor for tonight's game is the Oregon Brewing Company. Since the Arizona hitters were so completely dominated by Soler, our sponsor has graciously supplied an ample supply of Rogue Dead Guy Ale for the victorious Mets to share. The Diamondback hitters never knew what hit them tonight as Soler mowed them down.
