At one time or another, we've all scratched our head over why some players get promoted and some don't. I always thought that because of his defense (which I'd read about) and ability to hit with a decent average, if no power, he might have a shot at the majors.

Shame. I wonder which catchers the Mets thought were better than he was, and how many of them are career minor league roster fillers.
