The Mets will go into the playoffs with only two 10-game winners on their pitching staff, the fewest ever for a Mets team that made the postseason.

The 1969 team had only three, by the way.

Yeah but that 25 spot from...Gee can't recall the name off hand...more than made up for defeciencies amongst the rest of the staff

1986 108-54 .667 1st NLEast, NL Champs, World Champs
1969 100-62 .617 1st NLEast, NL Champs, World Champs
1988 100-60 .625 1st NLEast
1985 98-64 .605 2nd NLEast
1999 97-66 .595 2nd NLEast, NL Wild Card
*2006 95-65 .594 1st NLEast (2 games left in the regular season)

And that pretty much clinches no better than a tie for 5th winningest season in Met history.

Good job overall, would have been nice to get a few more September wins, but better hope October wins are A PLENTY!

5th best regular season in team history! WHOO HOO!

(Playing in a game 163 slides the 99 squad down obviously)
