dgwphotography Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 I just watched this again on DVD - one of my favorite movies. Ray Sharkey plays Vinny Vacarro, a street-wise music producer who is looking for a "face" to perform his music. Loosely based on the life of Bob Marucci, who discovered, Frankie Avalon and Fabian. Peter Gallagher makes his big-screen debut, and this is Taylor Hackford's directorial debut.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 really good movie. In fact, Taylor "what a" Hackford's ONLY really good movie.
RealityChuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Pretty good film overall. Haven't seen it since its first release, but I thought it was well done.
