Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 It seems, as I try and build a yearbook collection, that the Mets --- maybe all teams --- traditionally issued their yearbooks with pins matching the cover design. How long did this go on?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Ive looked thru my Met image library, and I have many pics of buttons and pins, but not one that seems to relate to a Met yearbook.Just searched Ebay and could not find any.Any pics?
Guest cooby Guests Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Those are really nice. I'll bet they would be an even better collectible than the yearbooks, but as a set it'd be awesome to pull together.I wonder how many years they did it, you have non consecutive years there, which would suggest they did it for quite some time
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 I got me a 1964ie. But don't own the yearbook. Anybody with the 1964 yabbuk who'd like to trade me for a different piece o' crap for the pin, lemme know.
Guest cooby Guests Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Would you trade your 1964 pin for a 1964 yearbook?
