Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 Why did they demote Chase? He was raking in his 6 AAA games. .421 AVG/.478 OBP/.474 SLG and it doesn't look like he has much to prove in AA--.323 AVG/.392 OBP/.615 SLG. That's just bizarre. I mean, I suppose Anderson's a better prospect, cause he's 3 years younger, and Andreson's performance in AA was promotion-worthy (.822 OPS), but still . . .Ah, well. I was hoping Chase would get a cuppa this year . . .
Guest SI Metman Guests Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 I'm guessing it's because Hernandez has a higher ceiling. He homered for Norfolk tonight going 1-5.
