Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Derek Lee is 3-3 with 2 HRs (#'s 21 & 22), a single, and a walk. His AVG is up to .396. At 29, he's having far and away his best season ever. He's never bat above .282 before, had an OBP over .379 or a SLG over .508. This year, he's got an OBP of .469 & a SLG of .714. Sheer insanity. Oh, and the Twinkies beat the Tiggers, 6-2 (Silva going all the way), the Cubbies are tied with the Brewers in the middle of the 8th at 6, and the Padres took an early lead over the Dodgers 1-0.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 What's Barry Bonds doing in Derek Lee's skin and why are they pitching to him?
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 It was good to be Lee there today. Carlos hit his 20th dinger in the same game.Later
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Peggy Lee could really belt 'em out too from what I hear, but I don't think she hit any today in Milwaukee.
