OK, we have some significant disparities in this one. The top ten match up but we have big differences in the middle, particularly with Jay Hook. It might have been me screwing around, but I should have at least noted changes I imposed onto the spreadsheet in the thread.

I usually don't get into the rankings, even though I saw every Mets team play. But here are some things about that 1963 season that you might find interesting:

The Mets search for a regular third baseman throughout their history has been oft mentioned. The thread above mentions Jim Hickman, and he is rated highly. But does anyone remember that Hickman played the second most games at third for the Mets that year? He played 59 games there, and had a fielding pct of .914 (not good).
Charlie Neal, who most think of as a second baseman, played 66 games at third in 1963, and had a .963 fielding pct.
To put that into perspective, a player remembered as one of the best fielding third baseman ever, the Yankees' Cletis Boyer, had a .954 fielding percentage that same year.
