Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Whatever minor offensive limitations on keep me out of the Sotosphere when it comes to Metly valuable, I make up for on defense. For I am Francisco Lindor, and I play a high-value position, I play it well, and I play it day in and day out.Coming off three straight 30-homer years, and four straight years with a bWAR of 5.4 or more, I am a good person to have around. I have 10-and-five rights, a thousand-watt smile and fiddle-playin' wife that opposes the ICE regime. You can't do better than that, but I am coming off surgery, and that could have short-term and longer term implications. I just don't know.Do you? If you do, please tell me what my 2026 season is going to look like, below in this thread.[FIMG=350]https://static.toiimg.com/thumb/msid-127589490,imgsize-68320,width-400,resizemode-4/francisco-lindor-with-his-family.jpg[/FIMG] [FIMG=350]https://www.amny.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2025-04-04T201423Z_1825763373_MT1USATODAY25845951_RTRMADP_3_MLB-TORONTO-BLUE-JAYS-AT-NEW-YORK-METS.jpg?quality=51&w=1200[/FIMG][FIMG=377]https://res.cloudinary.com/ybmedia/image/upload/c_crop,e_improve,h_1123,w_2000,x_0,y_15/c_fill,f_auto,h_900,q_auto,w_1600/v1/m/0/7/0775d5fc0a48d71a7f15cb0a9f221d5703acc913/mets-worst-case-update-on-francisco-lindor-injury.jpg[/FIMG] [FIMG=323]https://nypost.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2022/04/041922Mets07CWA.jpg[/FIMG]

The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Very encouraging that Lindor played 4 innings at shortstop in today's game against the Blue Jays. Went 1-3 and pulled a 390 foot foul ball down the RF line. No pain experienced. All excellent news. Hopefully, he continues to keep progressing as opening day approaches.
