If you catch any Mets minor league action this season, catch The Binghamton Rumbel Ponies. They are currently cleaning up the Eastern League with a 60–30 record, 12 games ahead of their nearest division competition. They are currently running out a near-nightly outfield of Carson Benge/Jett Williams/Ryan Clifford (Clifford also plays first some nights), and you don't have to squint to see a future Mets outfield there. All are having terrific seasons and one or two might even be in the majors already if they played in an organization that wasn't hot to contend.

Starting pitchers Jack Wenninger, Jonah Tong, Joander Suarez, lefty Zach Thornton, and Jonathan Pintaro have started between 10 and 18 games for the Rumblers and all have ERAs between 1.71 (Tong) and 3.40 (Pintaro). Pintaro stepped in when Nolan McLean blew through the level at 23 years old, and they scarcely missed a beat.

Cameron Foster is pitching shutdown ball (1.05 ERA) out of they've even collectively stolen 128 bases, with Williams and Nick Morabito leading the way with 33 and 28, respectively.

Visiting the Southern Tier region of New York? Like dirty uniforms? Have a jones to go ballooning in between games? Bingo is where you want to be.

You probably need to act fast if you want to see these guys in Binghamton. I'm honestly kind of surprised that Williams and Tong are still there.
