MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2025 Posted April 7, 2025 Matt Allan made his first appearance in a pro game in six years, a story that made national headlines. He was excellent, striking out five over 2 2/3 scoreless innings and throwing 28 of 44 pitches for strikes. Allan pitched in the minors in 2019 after the Mets selected him in the third round but suffered major setbacks after the 2020 minor league season was canceled due to COVID-19.
