Mixed results.  He sure looked uncomfortable out there, but promising nonetheless, and he got it done.

It was a positive outing for Senga if nothing else, good to see

First outing for the recently-gutted bullpen: 3 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 3 BB, 1 K

Probably helps that they weren't facing a lineup of Shohei/Mookie/Freddie, but I'll take it anyway.

So far in his career, Senga has pitched with five or six days' rest. If he is being converted to  a short reliever, It will be interesting to see how quickly he will be able to pitch again.

Later
