Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago C&L Perez in the first inning — no runs on no hits and no walks, two strikeouts. Nine pitches, and nine strikes. So he gets pulled before the second.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Toby M. needs to disappear, too. Could probably be traded for a 12-pack of Charmin toilet paper.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Myers certainly putting that pulling of Perez under the lamp.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Toby Myers has a 7.26 ERA since April 10 and a 11.12 ERA since May 6 (13 games), yet they still keep trotting him out there.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The Mets are "stretching out Myers" to become a starter. Disregard the fact he's been a total letdown. They're going to make him a starter. Disregard the fact the Mets have Tong, Wenninger and Thornton in the minors. They're gonna try to make Myers a starter. Well, Mendoza's gone but the stupid is still there.

I wonder if he's daring the pitcher to challenge him.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wagaman getting chasey with Mets on basey.

It seems like for the past few years we keep hearing how many worthwhile prospects they have, yet they keep throwing retreads out there instead of letting the fruits of their farm system actually prosper. You can't know if the prospects are actually good if you never give them a real shot.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago On the bright side, Luzardo is on my fantasy team and he's racking up some decent points for me today.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wagemen strikes out on a pitch over his head, Alvarez strikes out on a foul tip that wasn't (you can't challenge that?), and Vientos simply strikes out. It's already a long afternoon.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago At least Senga's season ERA is below 10 again.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Looking for a comeback and delighted Senga, but this is very much a second-game-of-a-double-header lineup.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Three ducks left on the pond Not all with two outs boo
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Senga continues to work against himself in his second innings.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Mets have chased Luzardo. Now they have to see if they can Cchase Shugart.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Young batting for Vientos is fun. Either he or Waggy may end up at third.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Folks, join the thread! We've got a tie game and Torrens is pulling the ball and stuff!

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I had a feeling Torrens's failure to get to 2nd was going to come back to bite us. At least no GiDP though. Was probably 50/50 whether Luis would have been able to stretch out the double.
Nick Morabito Syracuse Mets - AAA CF On Tuesday, Morabito went 2-for-4 with a walk. He also stole his 23rd and 24th bases. Explore Nick Morabito News >
